H&H Builders Inc. forms Teaming Agreements with other companies in order to leverage established expertise and past performance with the H&H contracting advantage:

The term “team arrangement” generally refers to the various types of strategic alliances contractors have formed to enhance efficiencies, exploit complementary capabilities, and ultimately increase competitiveness in the government marketplace:

The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR):

FAR 9.601: A “Contractor team arrangement,” as used in this subpart, means an arrangement in which:

(1) Two or more companies form a partnership or joint venture to act as a potential prime contractor; or

(2) A potential prime contractor agrees with one or more other companies to have them act as its subcontractors under a specified government contract or acquisition program.

FAR 9.602 “General”

Contractor team arrangements may be desirable from both a government and industry standpoint in order to enable the companies involvedto complement each other’s unique capabilities; and offer the best combination of performance, cost, and delivery for the system or product being acquired.

FAR 9.603 “Policy”

The government will recognize the integrity and validity of contractor team arrangements, provided, the arrangements are identified and company relationships are fully disclosed in an offer or, for arrangements entered into after submission of an offer, before the arrangement becomes effective.

The government will not normally require or encourage the dissolution of contractor team arrangements.

Both the Government and industry finds contractor team arrangements desirable to provide for the best combination of performance, cost, quality, and delivery, as stated in FAR 9.602 and recognizes the validity of contractor teams stated in FAR 9.603.


We also seek to be part of a General Specialty Contractor that would use our company as valued Sub-Contractors and their need to meet federally mandated SDVOSB, Veteran Owned, SDB, or HubZone categories of Small Business.

Teaming Members will be an integral part of the proposal and sole source set-aside program for government solicitations.  Strong collaboration with small or large business entities will provide more business contracts than if they were to pursue individually.
